6/26/11 - Teddy Bear Nails

I disliked my last mani so much that I did a new one pretty soon after. So I decided to try out bears. Pardon my flilthy hands and lack of cleanup - the last mani did not want to come off. But the bears are pretty cute, yeah? :)

6/24/11- Fail Space Nails

Well, I got this inspiration from this blog post. And I thought I would make it my own by doing planets and the sun, instead of random space stuff. So I did my best to paint the sun, Earth, Mars, Saturn, and Pluto on my nails.
I don't like it very much. And it didn't come out very well. Sigh.

6/22/11 - Sister Mani

I painted my sister's nails again. :)
I finally got the Konad stamping thing. This is my first try at using it. It is hard to get a hang of! these flowers were the only ones I could get at all. The butterflies, as you can see, are partial. Eek. But it was still fun. I'll have to keep practicing.
And look, it glows in the dark. :)

6/16/11 - Tie-Dye Nails

Isn't this cool? Tie-dye nails! I think it's super cool!
Clearly I still need to clean up the edges, but I was so worried about messing up such a cool mani that I'm saving that until later. :)

6/15/11 - Sister Mani

I tried something kind of new today- I painted my sister's nails. I don't really do much painting of other people's nails, so I asked her what she wanted and did my best to give it to her. I think she was pleased with it. :)

Why, hello there! I'm Quixii, and I'm trying out this whole blogging thing.
My interest in painting my nails if fairly recent. I got my first professional manicure last summer (almost exactly a year ago), and in November 2010, I started painting my own nails more consistently. I have a lot of fun finding ways to express my creativity in the tiny canvas of my nails, and I hope you have fun looking at what I've come up with. :)

While the blog has been created today, I have included all the my designs that I have documented from the past.

6/2/11 - The First Crack... nails

So I finally got to try out my new OPI Black Shatter.
I used two Sinful Colours underneath. I started with the teal, and then did random stripes of the pink on top. I didn't care what it looked like underneath, because I figured the shatter on top would make it look cool no matter what. And I was right. :) Lots of compliments on this one, too.
